In 2024 the art therapy conference Placing Art at the Centre celebrated 50 years of art therapy training at the University of Hertfordshire (UK). The conference featured workshops exploring contemporary art therapy practices within indoor and outdoor studios. The Walking Studio: Life All Around Us curated a wayfaring composition as part of a sculpture trail located within the grounds of the university. Participants were invited to make something of their encounters with sculptures by responding through impressions, images, conversations, contemplations and actions.
